These “Lucky Four-Leaf Clover” earrings are a homage to Spring, and to the legends that keep the symbol of the four-leaf clover alive.
Not only was the four-leaf clover treasured as a symbol of good luck and fortune by the ancient Celts and Druids, but it’s a Judeo-Christian spiritual symbol as well. Legend has it that Eve carried the four-leaf clover from the Garden of Eden.
And of course, four-leaf clovers are a happy mutation of the standard three-leaf clover or “shamrock.” The 5th century saint Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Christian belief in the holy trinity.
Hence, both the shamrock and four-leaf clover, as well as the color green, are celebrated on Saint Patrick’s Day on March 17.

This is lovely: The Necklace Nebula
Galactic jewelry that can only be in space from the glowing remains of a star.

Image description: Located 15,000 light-years away in the constellation Sagitta, the Necklace Nebula is the glowing remains of an ordinary star. It consists of a bright ring 12 trillion miles wide and is dotted with dense, bright knots of gas that resemble diamonds in a necklace. The Hubble telescope captured this image.

WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?

There are many places I’d like to visit, but if transportation and means were not an issue, the place I’d most like to see is the deep ocean where there are extraordinary, phosphorescent sea creatures and plants.
